If you would, put me at the end of your list for a GOA account. I scraped my pennies to get an NRA membership, so I only want the GOA one if the rest of the memberships aren't accounted for. Hopefully all of them go to people who currently don't belong to any of these types of groups.

masfonos, thanks for the stand down, I agree that it's good to get people that are not accounted for either membership. It's certainly better to get people who have not been a part of either into one of them first.

Sorry for the delay in responding guys, was taking the girl out for dinner.

Looks like we're full up at 43. Big thanks to Conspiro for his help in compiling the list for me.

Here's how it will go down (unless anyone sees room for improvement)

1. I will start the list off at #1, and will provide a membership to him/her providing that I have their information. In hindsight, I would've asked for a phone number or email from everyone should I run into problems, but I hope we can do without.

2. If I have not heard from #1, or have missing information and am unable to contact, I will move on to #2. (and so on)

3. I will attempt memberships in a sequential manner. If someone is passed up, don't worry, I'll be hitting you back on the next run through the numbers.

4. If I simply cannot get in touch with a requestor (and trust me, I'll try multiple times) I will open applications until filled.

5. Lastly, upon completion of the membership, I will be emailing each new NRA or GOA member their information/confirmation.

Use the resources of the NRA or GOA, contribute to their political action funds, write letters to your legislators, etc. In other words, GET INVOLVED AND BE ACTIVE! Don't just sit back and enjoy reading your free issues of American Rifleman (although you certainly should also enjoy your magazines).

Thanks again for your support Craig. zrxc77 talked me into keeping this going. I gave him the option after running a few posts to link to this in a couple of hometown forums. In one of the hometown forums the immediate response was to ban me for this, and I was pissed to say the least. I contacted zrxc77 and told him he could call it and I'd end it with his 15 memberships, and I'd send him the gun, or run it till Friday. Unselfishly he asked I keep it open till today, so those from 16 to 43 owe him a big thanks also. Craig also helped cross post this to get more people to hopefully get involved and it worked, so a big thank you to all for your generosity and support. Hopefully we can do this again soon!!!

If anyone else would like to sponsor some memberships it would be greatly appreciated. NRA memberships are $25 and GOA I believe is $20.
