Bore obstruction sounds plausible to me. I wonder if that was the first shot that day, or if he had been shooting already. The reason I wonder is that if the previous shot was a squib, he might have just thought that he pulled the trigger on an empty chamber and reloaded, then fired a slug into a slug.

From the video, it sounds as if it was the 1st shot of the day. Wonder if he had previously dropped a 20 ga slug in there or dirt daubers built a nest? |
