Callsign Eli888, he’s done a few RnG and Colas now. He finished just below middle of the pack. Pistol is his strength. He’s a fast runner slick, full loadout slows down the skinny kid.

If you aren’t competing in ColaWarrior and/or RnG, you should be.

WTF Spring 2024, Eli888 running the course and shooting the stages!!

Cool vid!  Kid is gonna be the real deal as he matures.

How old is he?  (if ya don't mind me asking)

Looks fun. Remind me I need to shoot more.

He did a great job. I’d be sore for 2 weeks after that.

I was impressed with his one handed pistol shooting while holding the dumbbell. I’m an above average shooter if I have a dot, but I would have really struggled with my off hand on that stage.

I got to ask... How old is he? Cause at whatever age he is, he is better than 99.99% of adults on this planet and thats something that both of you should be proud of.

He's 15. I let him follow along on runs at 13, and his first run of his own was at ColaWarrior West on his 14th birthday.

My injury is a little worse than I thought, I'm probably getting a surgery sometime this summer. I'll request a standby spot for Eli to come out and give it a run pending his school and my work schedule as we get closer. I'd really like to make it out if we can.

Great video - sums up the course well. I remember your son coming through.

I was the RO on the Bonus stage - axe throwing this time around. Didn't make the video but that's OK. Shooters got to throw 5 axes. Each time their axe stuck to the target they were entered into a prize drawing.

The winner of the Bonus Stage prize drawing got a nice new Larue upper for his trouble.

Great parenting and kid. I could only imagine being given a Staccato and AR at that age.

I wish we had some of these up here. It wouldn't be to hard to set up a course along old logging roads. I've set up mini courses for me. But then I'm sure there'd be like 5 guys show up.

Haven’t done much since Karl went nucking futs in Arizona. Only other one was more three gun and barely any movement. Any good ones like that here?

Either way, solid move as a dad. Kid knows his stuff and has better gear then most people I’ve seen competing

Organize a group to get that going. Make sure the name includes "patriot" "resistance" "minutemen" or something like that. Then, the feds that show can help you pay for it all.

win-win

I've done 4 events between Farrell, Burial Mound and Rockcastle and they sold out.

A lot of dudes are into LARPing, for lack of a better word.

He's really been spoiled not just with high end gear, but also being around top level competitors. The level of instruction and training that my friends have invested in him is really world class, and I tell him that but I don't think he really understands lol.

He's getting to use better gear than I usually set him up with. We have a team RnG coming up in July so trying to standardize on our equipment.

I'm lucky to be right in the heart of RnG territory. OED, Pawnee, and WTF are all short road trips for me. That being said, I've also done long haul road trips and flown to events.

No famous names, just a lot of one on one instruction time with top tier RnG and Colabros.
