I sounds like the ADS-B rebate is coming back.

https://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/LSA-Weight-Limit-Increasing-To-3600-Pounds-231639-1.html?ET=avweb%3Ae4165%3A2281223a%3A&st=email

"As for the ADS-B rebate, it will be a repeat of the $500 incentive launched last year that did not attract much interest. “I talked with the FAA administrator yesterday. He was comfortable with me telling you there’s going to be another $500 rebate,” the AOPA report quoted its president Mark Baker as saying. AVweb has contacted industry leaders about the proposed change and the new ADS-B rebate program and will update this story as they get back to us."

I don’t NEED it for where I fly most of the time. But I do have a dual GNS boxes and a 330, so I’m just a ES mod and cable away from minim

Ideally I’d want a solution that also gives me in, doesn’t send my n number (or hex) out when set to 1200, I’ll wait till after 2020 and see what my options are.

1129 USAF helicopters?

Where and what?  My count is 106 H-60s and 75 Hueys.  Are they counting Ospreys as helos?  There are 51 of those.

USAF is managing the program for all of DoD.

Fort Rucker’s UH-72 fleet has already been moded for ADS-B Out but that was "easy" since they were already dual Garmin GNS430W and GTX 330 equipped.  The war fighting aircraft are going to be a different story.
