So in losing weight and increasing my activity levels.

My wife wants me to find some shorts that show off my best features which she feels are my ass and upper legs.

So im looking for some comfy short inseam (5-6”) non baggy shorts.  Im looking for mid thigh inseam not to my knees.

Im 5’9 and waist 36.

In my pockets:
Iphone 13; kel tec p32, spare mag, small folding knife, wallet

My Columbia PFG’s meet all criteria except fit

Any ideas?

Chubbies Shorts

They come in shorter inseam lengths anywhere from 5.5" to 8", usually run sales, and are decent fit and quality.

Got a link?

How long have you been wearing them?

How many pair do you own?

How do they compare to, say, Columbia PFG’s?

I made the mistake of wearing some 6" shorts to poker night.  It was brutal.

7" are as short as I'll go.

Eta: I have leg day twice a week.  Like a few others said, you may have trouble with the leg diameter if you built your quads/hammies up.

You don't want people to be able to count the change in your pocket when you put them on.

Freefly make a short that fits well. Southern Tide are a little tighter, but workable.  Columbia you mentioned earlier work well, but I have the 7" version.

Yeah.

Mine were 6".  My poker buddies made more than one reference to Richard Simmons when I sat at the table.

Now they are reserved for mowing the grass.

This, and add a Fanny Pack to the mix to hold all of your gear.

I’ve been wearing short shorts and a Fanny for the past year in Chicago, no issues.

That won’t work in the city, you need to look like everyone else.

If I were to go that route, I’d just wear my bino harness.

I'm a big fan of wearing my silkies/Ranger panties. Train, Lift, Shoot makes some nice shorts with a built in liner but no pockets.

I actually checked out the Chubbies site, did seem a little gay.

Shorter inseam Seems pretty popular with the younger non gay crowd.
