Anyone have experience with this? Yesterday my card was hit with two charges, $1.38 and $169.00. I reported the fraudulent charges this morning. Card is canceled. Just now an Amazon driver dropped this "gift" off. Seems fishy but pointless. Yes, it didn't click with me at first and I stupidly signed for it. Looks like it is this: https://www.amazon.com/Zinyeme-Professional-Nebulizing-Technology-Waterless/dp/B09S27YBRB I'm thinking just return it but it doesn't show in my order history. What would be the point of someone doing this? I get that my Amazon account was probably hacked but why require a signature for delivery?

Either they are pushing you for reviews, which is 100% normal, or this guy loves you. They pick a user, send them items, and hope you review them.
Where were the charges at OP? |

Really just wondering if they can reinstate the charge because I signed for it. |

OP should keep his head on a swivel. He just denied some thief the credit card and he knows where OP lives. |

Sometimes it’s people close by and they’ll come over and pick up the item before you see it and grab it off the porch. But having to sign for it makes no sense. I’m not sure in a decade plus of Amazon prime that we’ve ever signed for a package. This is weird.

Probably fake account with a different name but your address, then they list something and sell it to the fake account with your credit card. They use the signature to fight the charge back?
Strange, Im just guessing |

The scammer was going to take the item off your porch after delivery?

Cancel your card and get a new cc# (likely automatic if there was a charge you didn't make when you called the CC company)
Then have charges reversed which is no problem. Likely a guy that stole your card knows where you live intended to steal the item off your porch so he wouldn't get busted. How he knew the right billing zip code for the card to go through. The perfect crime. For thieves. |
