The other cop asking him how he figured out it was the same guy.

"Old fashioned Detective work."

You could practically hear the other cop roll his eyes.

On the one hand, keying somebody's car is a serious dick move.

On the other hand, arrested and charged with a felony?  Ouch.  I would have expected a fine and restitution to repair the victim's truck, but a felony is kind of shockingly harsh, especially considering some of the shit people walk after doing.

$6k intentional property damage probably falls into felony territory.

felony theft in FL appears to be $750.  so, $750+ in paint damage should be a felony as well.  the victim is out at least $750 in either case, so why would keying a car not have the same punishment?

I was surprised at that, too, but it absolutely shows lack of control could easily get worse over time.  Hopefully the asshole takes this as an opportunity to get his emotions under control.

It's called laws here in Florida and that pos deserves everything he gets. Over a thousand in damages a felony charge. While in NY you can steal 800.00 bucks a day and nada happens to you. I hope the liberal pos never comes back here.

We have a judge here that doesn't take kindly to those who skip their court appearances. He issues warrants on Friday and they spend all weekend in jail before being able to bail/bond out on Monday.

The kind of chicken shit that keys a vehicle isn’t one you’re going to have to worry about face to face, but I’d damn sure have cameras everywhere if he did live next door.

Dude seems proud for what he did. He was read his rights and sang like a canary and owned up to it. Now he has some street cred to tell his boomer buddies back in NY. Most likely he will plead down to some lesser charge and pay $$ to fix his fuckup. I'm sure it was worth $6k plus court/lawyer costs. I'm sure he can afford it.

Oh.....missed that part. I used to live next door to one of these liberal assholes. It was not pleasant. He finally moved. I can see that crazy idoit walking the neighborhood looking for anti Biden or Democratic things to damage. He'd be one of those liberals who'd come on to your property to steal campaign material or damage properties. We all know from the wife's response that this is not his first time. She was not surprised at all he got arrested.

Absolutely, that's when when one lived next door to me I put up several surveillance cameras around my property along with motion sensors. I'm not kidding these people are insane and hate Republicans. I'd be working in my yard and this Democratic Socialist pos would come out and out of blue start screaming at me about Trump and Republicans. Myself and several others celebrated when he moved.
