Archiving messages from 'Sent' folder not working

As title reads, tried today to archive some messages from my 'Sent' box and they're not going into my Archive folder. Have refreshed numerous times, have tried clicking the checkbox on the message and clicking the message itself when I hit 'Archive'. Still not showing up there.

Any reasons why this might be?

For clarity's sake, is it just not possible to archive messages you have sent from the IM?
