now that I have two auto winding watches, I am wondering if this is a good idea ?

I just got the VOSTOK, and ordered one without the date, since it's a pain in the ass to set.

I have a four-watch winder and a one-watch winder. Both are used as unpowered cases now.  Partly because I have a dozen or so autos so keeping a few wound matters less, but mostly because I like synching up with time.gov every time I rotate a watch. The winder will keep it running but it won't make it accurate enough not to set every couple of days.

YMMV.

ETA: Those are both great watches. Looking good.

He at least answers whether you should have a watch winder at 40 seconds.  I just reset the watch when I wear my tAG.  It is a pain though.
