My friend's daughter wears noise canceling headphones basically 24/7 because sound hits her hard. She learned sign language to help accommodate.
They try to watch her 24/7 but sometimes she runs thinking she's alone in the world and a 17 year old has better burst speed than 40 year olds. Side note: She's amazing at aircraft data and trivia. I'm an aviation dork but she has wingspans, MGTOWs, RCS data and these things on instant recall. |

You should know that a kid might wander into the street randomly; whether it be because they don't intuitively know the street is different than a sidewalk, or because they cant hear, or they are chasing a ball.
