Couple cloves of garlic Bit of olive oil Couple fresh leaves of basil And a pinch of red pepper flakes. Better than anything from a can and not expensive. |

Recently my local grocer had twin packs of pork butts $.99/lb. I haven’t priced them lately, but every so often they have 10 lb bags of chicken leg quarters for ~$.50/lb. Gotta shop the sales, fill your freezer, then eat what's in there.

HEB brand 62¢ box of sugar free raspberry jello. Makes a pint of joy with no sugar, no nutrients, few calories, and mostly Red2 dye to leave a big red stain all down your shirt where it rolled off your spoon. Don't forget to put your HEB $1.07 container of fat-free whip cream on every bite.
