Last year the local government purchased our Lodge building for a price that was more than double the appraised value.  Since the government always takes property in the end, and the money was stupid high, we sold out and bought a new building.  Our old building was a cement block building constructed in 1960, added on to in 1980, and again in 1985.  The new building is a steel frame building with brick veneer on 2 sides that was built in 2011 as a church.  We gutted it and remodeled it completely.  We still are working on the lounge / library room, and have a poker table and more comfortable chairs on order.  Plus we have all the books and memorabilia in boxes still.  The rear parking lot, the sign at the road, and the landscaping all need attention as well. Please excuse my poor quality pics.

Very nice!  I'm sure the building and facilities will be enjoyed by the Lodge and appendant bodies for many years!

Sweet. The one thing you could add when remodeling that our lodge is lacking is a down spot on the alter that's on its own switch, so that you can kill the room lights and keep the alter lighted for some rituals. We're in a classic building with high plaster ceilings that just can't be touched.

ETA: Never mind. on second glance, it looks like you have that covered already. Very well done Brother!
