Just a random thought about that truck. If it is one of the agencies maybe they are listening to or for some signals from the containers? Placed by a government agency or maybe a foreign entity.
Might be interesting to point a yagi at the containers and see what shows up on a spectrum analyzer. |

They drive them to concerts and park them in lots during parades, any time there's going to be a whole ton of text/voice traffic that needs to be around and reliable. I am guessing they were getting iffy service, they move one there and it runs a local tower and has a single high speed uplink to the network. Is that what people are guessing that it is a drone jammer or something? Drones run on the open 2.4 and 5GHz bands (freqs WiFi uses as well) and jamming one isn't a simple matter as they're spread spectrum, you'd need to white out the whole band to have an effect, and if the drone is linked via cell phone or starlink or other similar high end comms, there's no real jamming it. The new ones can be programmed with a flight profile and use GPS and IMU to travel a path and record and return to be downloaded as well. They're handy for terrorists like that. |

Demo crews are going to use explosive charges to bring the biggest truss piece down. They are cutting and drilling points on it to place the charges. Not today though, it is pissing with rain there so far today.

The body of the last missing victim killed in the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore was recovered on Tuesday, officials said.
José Mynor López, 37, was identified as the final victim to be located in the wake of the March 26 disaster. He and five other members of a work crew filling potholes on the bridge were killed when the Dali container ship collided with one of the bridge’s support columns, triggering the collapse. Salvage teams located López’s body and notified authorities. “With heavy hearts, today marks a significant milestone in our recovery efforts and providing closure to the loved ones of the six workers who lost their lives in this tragic event,” said Colonel Roland L. Butler Jr., superintendent of the Maryland Department of State Police. “As we mourn with the families, we honor the memory of José Mynor López, Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, Maynor Yasir Suazo-Sandoval, Carlos Daniel Hernandez Estrella, and Miguel Angel Luna Gonzalez,” Butler added. In a statement, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said “it is with solemn relief” that López “will be reunited with his loved ones.” Referring to all the victims of the bridge collapse, he added: “We remain steadfast in our commitment to enduring support and will forever remember the lives of these six Marylanders.” |

It's no small feat of engineering to do it correctly without creating more problems. No kind of anything but I'd guess they would secure the bridge to the ship and then would blast the brigde out away from ship on both sides simultaneously so they fell into the water. Then remove the piece from on top of the ship while cutting up the rest lying on the riverbed to be removed. Flame away for my uneducated guess. |
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
