I you are going to post, buy a Timex a Glock, and spend the other $29,500 on training and ammo, this is wrong post for you

This is a game I play with SEVERAL other watch aficionado.
Pick a set a budget and build you collection.

Todays budget is $30,000 and
9 watches to do it with
Build your collection

( yes I know there are more choices that these 9, yes I rounded to the nearest dollar of what these can be had for )
Hope this is fun game for everyone, and it introduces, to new watches that are available in different amounts

If these goes well, it might be something I do regularly.

Cartier, GMT, and platinum Rolex. You have good prices, selling any of these?

ETA - I screwed up, for $30k, I'd do the Cartier and the gold GMT.

Stainless GMT, Speedy, Seamaster and Cartier. Final answer! I spent way too long thinking about this... With enough strap/bracelet combos I could make a 4 watch collection work and they would cover all occasions.

All those are some of the worst Options of the specific Models

Still :
Black side of the Moon
GMT Master
Planet Ocean
5k left for Glock and Ammo lol

Here are my 3 at 2/3 of the Budget

Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, Black Dial on Steel
Breitling Avenger Seawolf, Yellow Dial on Rubber

+ one of the following depending on usual Clothing and Taste
Rolex Explorer 1 40mm,
Rolex Sub no Date
Rolex ExII

Here's mine. Honestly, if I had $30k in my watch budget, I'd probably save a little longer and get an A Lange Sohne, but let's work in the hypothetical budget:

Daily Beater: Tudor Pelagos 39 - $5,000
Weekend / Casual Date Night: Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi on a Jubilee Bracelet - $11,000
Dress / Special Occasion: JLC Reverso - $12,000
Barn / Shop Work: Sangin Kinetic II V3 - $600
$1k+ left for Casio, Glock, and ammo

I gave this a bunch of thought, but this is my best selection I could come up with for my personal taste.

If I can bend the rules in OP, I’d just get these four:

IWC 3536-01

IWC 3706

5-digit Rolex GMT Master II

JLC Master Control Date or Breguet 5157 (used)

* just thinking out loud. . . Another watch that I would include if able to purchase at retail price would be a new ceramic Rolex Daytona.  One or two of the aforementioned would have to go.  Also, what collection isn’t complete without an Omega Speedmaster?  When the dust settles, my collection would have to have an IWC 3536-01, IWC 3706, and a GMT Master II.  I very rarely wear a suit or formal attire so I’d mix/match these combos to keep it under $30K.

I’d buy the AP and spend 2500 on an ammo fort and 2500 on 5 glocks.
