To my Catholic, Protestant, evangelical, and other western Christian brothers and sisters - Christ is risen!
To those members of the Orthodox Church - hope your Great Lent is going well, and best wishes on this Sunday of St Gregory Palamas. One of the things I'd given up for Lent this year (at the strong recommendation of my incredibly wise wife) was reading/posting on arfcom. Doing so produced a great sense of quiet. It reminded me of my years in seminary when, during Great Lent, there was (aside from very basic communication) no talking at meals. I hope everyone has an outstanding day! |

At last night’s Easter Vigil, I watched my RCIA class get baptized, confirmed, and take their first Holy Communion. What a great night it was.
Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again. Dying you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life. Lord Jesus, come in glory. When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, Lord Jesus, until you come in glory. |
