Wife is going to host a big Christmas party this year, so I'm looking for some good, simple recipes for cocktails.
I'm thinking Old-Fashions / Chocolate Martinis / Some sort of Gin cocktail / Whisky Sours..... Looking for suggestions for any more (key: need to be simple please). |

As sacrilegious as this sounds we make a "batched" old fashioned but throw in some apple pie seasoning/spice. Call it sweater weather, it's pretty good if you use makers or any other cheaper wheater whiskey.

Maple old fashionds can be super easy.
Shave orange peel, wipe rim, in glass. 2 cherries, I like luxardo. "Serving" of knob creek smoked maple, choice of bitters (I like black walnut). No sweetener needed. Shake with ice, into glass, or strain over a cube. You could make a couple at a time.
