Not a whole lot of new information out, but he does put the synopsis and most interesting bits of his books into one video.   I don't think we know even a portion of what there is to know about ancient Egypt and pyramids.  The time since could have seen many, many other structures rot away or be scavenged for buildings in Cairo.  Only the blocks too  heavy to move stayed on the Pyramid, so the possibilities of other medium to smaller structurs around it as well as larger wooden buildings are long gone and erased from oral history.  

The theories as to the purpose of the Pyramid are like figuring out the entire Antikythera mechanism, except with only 20% of it left instead of 60%+ in the case of the metal clockworks that were preserved caked in ocean gunk shipwreck which made it capable of engineering a new one.

Looking back at history and how conquerors would always deface/loot/destroy any culture of the people conquered comes to mind, how many times was that land fought over and lost/won back in the millennia since their construction?  That behavior could also explain the reason behind possible faces of the Sphinx prior to the erosion/defacing from anything from an Anubis to a human face.

The way we're looking at the 17th and 18th century "dynamite exploring" of interesting places to loot or just inspect likely removed many more key clues that would help explain things, but in another 100 years, people might be calling the tests we completed to determine materials as excessive destruction instead of using some contact free surface scanner to be invented.  Like a souped up hand held x-ray spectrometer to instantly get materials/elements composition and dimensions/roughness down to angstrom resolution of the entire structure at a push of a button instead of our current laser scanning and rock chip analysis which doesn't go that fine on a structure so large unless you spend an hour for many small square areas one at a time.  

IOW, We're only left with stuff too big to carry for clues for reverse engineering, so we are really stabbing blindly at the exact function.   The 8 sides that show up at equinox/solstice are a very interesting feature in addition to the True North orientation, and constellations, implying they knew a lot more about celestial mechanics that proposals the church punished Galileo for only 500 years ago.
