He has several 5 gallon buckets full of plates and officer spoon plates. This man has things in his collection many museums don't have. Sad part is nobody on her side of the family cares about any of this stuff, I'm the only one who knows what any of it is. He has stuff from pre Revolution to WWII.
ETA: I have repros on my cartridge box and belt, may get another set and swap for originals, the rifles I shoot with them are original(except wear parts like nipples, springs, etc., 1853 Tower 1861 and 1858 artillery carbine RT Pritchett 1859). The repros are very different in weight and construction.
