Anything Google has their fingers in is the Devil. I am guilty of watching Youtube at times. Various repair vids, history, electrical tech, small amount of firearm stuff ..etc. YT is frequently baiting with certain vid suggestions that might be interesting but also might be stuff I don’t want in my profile when Google is in charge. They are worse than TikTok.

Then turned around and wanted to know everybody that viewed the link. It doesn't seem like they actually created the videos but with journalism these day's who knows. It's the equivalent of self-hosting an image posted here then tracking the hits to get all the IPs and browser information of those that clicked on the thread. Commonly known as a "web bug." Ever open an email and it wants to show you images and you click that to see them and then nothing shows up? That's a tracker bug. |

There's too much information out there and readily available and it's very simple for them to put things together without even needing a warrant...and private industry supports it because there are plenty of perks for them and an unholy alliance. |

Freetube on the desktop, GrayJay on android. I am loving GrayJay, it will search YT, PeerTube, Rumble, Oddysey and probably a bunch more. You can subscribe to a "creator", it keeps your history listed, you can create multiple playlists and channel groups, and it probably has a ton more functionality than I am using.
Gives me the option to sign in to those platforms, but I don't. And I have never seen a single ad on it. |
