They’re seeing aurora near London, in Turkey, etc. lower states should get a show tonight. Just hit KP9, highest in 20 years.

I am probably driving 3 hours north to a family place in Maine tonight as it sounds like things have a chance of being good tonight, despite not being as good as last night.
Wish me luck Arfcom- I am abandoning my pallets of food and vault of guns to go to an empty 100 year old house with just a bag of cheetos and maybe my Ruger LCP Max with a spare mag. |

It appears that Spectrum has substantial outages over the eastern part of the country. Have to wonder if it didn't knock out one (or more) of their satellites

Didn't see anything but stars last night. Still cool to go out of a dark sky spot very near me and look up. It's not as strong as when I've been in the middle of nowhere, but you can see the edge of the Milky Way around here, which is a big change from when I lived in the big city.
