No downtime for me, I'm in Act 2 with my 21 Barbarian. Not my favorite class, but I like it, and it's one that most of my friends want to play. Figured I would play it first and save the other classes I want to play for doing co-op with them when they're playing a Barbarian.
I feel kinda rediculously overpowered. Using Cleave[Rupture] and Rend[Blood Lust] as my left and right clicks. Ground Stomp[Wrenching Smash], Leap[Iron Impact], Revenge[Vengeance is Mine], and Whirlwind on my hotbar. Weapons Master and Nerves of Steel for my passives. I basically Leap Attack in, Ground Stomp to pull everyone close and stun, Rend to get the DoT on everyone, and then cleave the enemies. With the Wrenching Smash rune, everything is already grouped up right next to me, and most things don't survive more than a second or two. |

Got kicked due to battle.net being down.
started at like 10am EST, level 17 wizard so far. Been playing with 2 friends, a demon hunter and a barbarian. Normal difficulty is pretty easy so far with a party of 3, we had one death in the first act. I started the 2nd act solo and died 4 or 5 times after they'd logged off |

I tried playing on my lunch break, but the game was in the middle of a
two-hour service outage. I managed to get in this afternoon at about 4:45pm and I played for a whopping 30 minutes before the servers went down again, this time for a (scheduled) 75 minute outage. I understand that incredibly popular games will often have intermittent issues on launch day, but this game has been out for fifteen hours and it's been unplayable for a good portion of that window. It's not just overcrowding, but apparently some sort of systemic issue that is requiring patching from Blizzard. This is particularly egregious because I'm playing a single player game. I could understand if I was playing a multiplayer game or if I gave a damn about achievements, but I'm just trying to complete a casual single-player run through the game. It's made worse by the fact Diablo 3 has been in development for eleven years, the last two of which have been dedicated to "polish". Moreover, Blizzard runs the single largest MMO in existence, so you'd think they'd have this whole network management thing figured out. |

I'm up to level 23 or 24, myself, and I'm still in act 2. The way I had heard it, they expect people to be approximately level 30 when they finish their first playthrough on normal, then level 50 when they finish nightmare, level 60 when they finish hell/start inferno. And 60 is the level cap. I just don't think I'll make it out of normal before I hit 40, considering that I haven't even gotten to the second half of the game yet.
I was pretty frustrated right when the servers came up and I couldn't get in. Not really some BS that you should have to put up with. But then I had 12+ hours of solid gameplay. This server downtime is the first I've dealt with for the game. It kinda sucks that it's not working right for everyone, but when it does work it works great. Hopefully you guys can take your frustrations out on some zombies and demons and cultists soon. |

Anyone have a sacrificial guest pass I can get? My computer has a 2.2GHz processor and I'm not sure about my video card. I want to test the waters out to see if my system can handle it before I buy.

They've written a whole bunch of lore and fleshed the world out a lot, and with such an amount of information to absorb it would be easy to make the world feel like something new and not the world of Sanctuary we are familiar with from the last two games. Also, you just revealed one of the bosses, which would be a spoiler. =P |

Made it to act 4 at level 29 with my monk. Been playing with my friends who are a barb and a witch doctor.
