I had to lower my KTM 350 XCF-W down to 34". Cost me close to $500.
New springs in the forks and spacers in the rear. Then set up for my weight and abilities. I don't do woops well past the third one. Scares the shit out of me when we come up to a bunch of them while on Michigan single-track. One ~~fu...~~ screw up and I'm wrapped up around a tree.

It would be really cool to see the auto-lowering technology that's on some ADV bikes migrate over to the enduro/dual-sport arena w/o robbing performance.

That looks like a blast! If only there was a dealer within 100 miles and I was 40 years younger! Currently have a CRF300L, much better bike than the 250L, but still pales to the CRF 250x. Then again, I don't miss the high seat height and the oil changes.

After neglecting my DR650 for a few years I've been riding it again lately. Today I got out and rode a bunch of gravel/dirt roads in the rural part of my county. I managed to find the unimproved creek crossing I came across a long time when I first started riding. Couldn't ride straight across, on the far side it dropped off to at least 2ft deep. I was able to skirt the edge to the left and cross downstream a bit.

I probably rode for about three hours, my ass feels bruised now. Worst seat ever. I finally decided to upgrade the seat to one from ProCycle.
