I'm actually allergic-or-something to the sizing and starch they use in fabric manufacturing.  I'll wash boxers three damn times before wearing 'em.

I'm brave: I wear 'em fresh from the Mill.
I even  take my  medicine UNWASHED  straight from the bottle,  though it was probably made in a dirt floor  "LAB" by Indians who shit in the alley out behind work, and have never held a single square of toilet paper in their life.

There was a member on here several years ago who posted that one of his guilty pleasures was wearing new socks every day.  Wear them once, throw them away.  Cheaper than smoking cigarettes.

I had a very angry Chief Petty Officer in boot camp that drilled into my mind that, "new gear is dirty gear."
