I had a Epi 6/12. Spent more time tuning it than playing it. Fun to play. Definitely can’t sit down and relax when playing. Heavy as hell to play standing for long. The new Gibson Jimmy Page reissues are going for $50,000.

If you can find an OLP, Officially Licensed Product made in Chyner for Music Man/Ernie Ball, great guitars

Doubleneck OLP on Reverb, $1850, ouch..

Bought this one for $300 with gig bag a couple years back.
Chiropractors love  for you to play one standing up..

I always thought the one Slash plays was cool.

The SG or Epi SG doubles are the way to go. Guitar is inherently light to begin with so not as much of a killer..

And because there's nothing cooler than Don Felder playing Hotel Cali on a double with Steve Miller and Jimmy Page in the audience

Just some trivia from the first one he brought out in stage after Dusty passed:

Don't forget Junior Brown's Guit-Steel, standard 6 string and a lap steel guitar joined together.

I just know that getting the wall hangers just right for a double neck guitar would be tough. I know that if one were sitting higher than the other and it wobbled, it would definitely get my OCDs going.

But then you would have to occasionally play bass.

Two double necks live.  Yes, bass and guitar types are available.  Geddy is playing a bass and 12-string here and Alex the 6/12 SG.

Firefly makes decent guitars so I hear.  I know nothing about double necks though.

Speaking of Firefly, on their website they list guitars as "GWTD" and "SWTD", "SWTHD", and "BNA". I can't for the life of me figure out what these mean although I am sure it is very simple. Anyone know?

I like mine besides that it takes a week to tune it. The tuning pegs that face each other are a bitch to get to.

Not sure but Alex played a 12/6. Elvis had one with a bass neck. There are also ones with a 6 string and a mandolin neck as well.
