My wife bought a pampered chef one a decade ago. My dog SOMEHOW got his fucking teeth on it and chewed the fuck out of it. I sanded it down so I could still use it. It works, but looks like a retard made it in some shop class

I don't have space for or need the ones that crank open 10 pound cans. Also, no counter space for the lock down electrics that seem to work. My folks have a manual one that clicks closed when you squeeze the handles, that works well but I haven't found one online that had decent reviews. I just hate the ones you have to squeeze and keep tight, those types' teeth fail within like a week. For now, this one is my jam. |

I always buy two at a time because of skipping. Tried most kinds and I'm not a high volume can opening guy. Just can now and then of beans to put in my chili.

THAT sucks, too. I can see the appeal of the manual type. |

I've had one of those for a couple years, been great until recently. Started having a little difficulty getting it to bite but it still works great once it does.
