We cannot change the past and the future isn’t promised - there is only now.
Give yourself this moment in time to search for only peace. Don’t give that away to anyone or anything for any reason.
This too, shall pass.

The forgiveness of sins hinges on true repentance.
The repentance comes after the sin.
Your body is not your own. Only God has control over when someone dies.
Taking your life is a terrible sin and rejection of God's gift.

Sorry man but OP needs to hear the truth.

OP, God forgives everything if you repent and sincerely ask for repentance. He is filled with joy when the "black sheep" returns to the flock.

You need to crack a Bible and read the New Testament and pray. It is a good read! IF you do that, pray, have faith, follow the teaching of Jesus you WILL BE amazed.
It can be life changing beyond belief.

Jesus is not and should not be viewed as a get out of jail free card because he is not.
There are those that think they can repeatedly sin " because Jesus died for me!"
That' s bunk and dangerous.
You still have to ask for forgiveness and repent and honestly try not to sin again.

This is true.

Hebrews talks about continuing to sin forgoes "the sacrifice".

Once you're saved you put off your old self and become new.

This is the problem with so many modern "churches". They try to talk the talk but have a gay pastor or women in leading positions. Thats not a church.

John 3:10. Satan's children are obvious.

They are to God. He doesn't reckon time the way we do. 100 years is like a hour to him.
You might not be where he wants you yet. He may want you to help you grow more.
You , me and the rest of us are works in progress.
In God's time, not ours is something I had to learn to accept.
He will not ever turn his back on you even though you may think he has.
I think everyone has felt that way at one time or another.
I know it's hard to wait, have patience , keep faith.
You can do it and the reward is spectacular.

From January 2021 to November 2022 I thought my problems were permanent too.  I held my G19 in my hand several times thinking of reasons not to pull the trigger.

I was talking to psychologists, taking meds, praying.  It wasn’t working.  Then God answered my prayers with Ketamine therapy.

It gave me what I needed to understand myself.  That therapy has made me a better person, a better Christian, a better father, and a better husband.

Now I’m not saying it’ll necessarily help you, but my point is THERE ARE OPTIONS.  What you’re going through is not permanent.

Seek God's strength to get through this time of suffering - you don't have to go it alone.

If you are up for the fuckery that is GD, use words less than three syllables so we don’t have to break out the dictionary.

God does forgive. However, I've also known him to make reliable primers misfire when things are not in accordance with his plan.
Thus, as a piss poor Christian, I admonish you to seek his love rather than his forgiveness.

Just keep smashing. Life goes on. Change your perspective. Everything passes. Some things continue to suck.

Seriously, change your perspective. Nothing much matters to a dead man, so if you need to live with the perspective of having passed, in order to move forward, then do that. You don't have to do anything permanent to get through it.

Some things you can change, some you can't. Don't worry about the things you can't change.

There's always the fuck it bucket. Anything you can't handle, don't want to deal with, or just don't want in your life - toss it in and move on.

I understand if you opt out, no blame in it, but I'm sure the world would be a better place with you in it than not. Personally, I hope you stick around. Hang out with the rest of us who live with, considered, or attempted to kick off early.

Life does become rather interesting with a perspective change. You are the captain of the ship, the master of the sea - live and see life through whatever lens you choose. It's all for you. Hope to see you around later 👍

I definitely don't speak for God. The only unforgivable sin, according to Jesus, is rejection of the holy spirit. Even Jesus asked for help when the burden seemed like it was too much. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

If you need anything, holler.

Not going to argue with you here in this thread. I do understand where you are coming from but again, Jesus is not a get out of jail free card. That is absurd. I know people who think they can repeatedly sin " cause Jesus".
We still need to obey the 10 commandments even though Jesus died for us. Jesus was asked how to get to Heaven . What was his answer?

It was the third most searched for Bible verse of 2020. The verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14, “…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

We are told to repent and " sin no more". Not my words.
Whoever says " I believe in Jesus and he died for my sins so I'm all good now" and repeatedly sins without repentance makes a mockery of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

I'm done with this now we don't need to argue this in this thread.
Sorry OP.

Smashy, don’t ever give up!

I was diagnosed with calcifalixis 4 years ago. You can look it up, but you won’t find any meaningful information because the mortality rate is 80% in the first year and there is nobody to study.

If 100 people had it, 20 would be left after one year, 4 the second year, 0.8 the third year, and 0.016 now.  I beat it and you can too.

I credit my life to God, the Dr that gave me a second opinion, my wife who went through hell taking care of me, and my home health nurse.

Whatever it is you can overcome it.

PM me if you want to talk. I’ve been through every emotion possible and ended up back working in a field I love.
