I've always wanted a G36C just for the videogame nostalgia.

Used to have one. It sucked. Never meet your hero's.

In this pic, it has the newer handguard on it, but when I put the older style handguard on it, it's *really* light. View Quote I'm sure if HK made those in the US and put them up for $1800 they'd be popular for the collector crowd. Knowing it is HK, they would probably price it $2,500 or more though. |

No argument with the model for the rifle in question.
A friend of mine had whatever FFL/SOT required for dealer samples, and I got trigger time on his G36 with the happy switch. I was impressed with how smooth it was. It was a far cry from an AC-556 for sure! |

I enjoy shooting the G36 and would like to try an L85 as well.
Even with an optic it's lightweight. Attached File |

The SIG is much easier to get than a proper German made civ market G36 |

And the charging handle needed the extension, but they were always backordered. Beretta fucked up what could’ve been a very popular lightweight carbine. |
