RIP Tim

This one really gets me. Tim is an awesome guy. He wrote Cold Camp (Cold Camp online) which was the first survival fiction story I read, other than Alas Babylon years before. I wish he had gotten it published on Kindle at least and made a couple bucks off it - it was really good. Also, a member here (@Hawkeye maybe?) created an 'audiobook' of it on youtube: Cold Camp by TimJ - Playlist of Chapters
I chatted with Tim occasionally over the years, and as usual in these cases, I wish it was more. WG - I'm sorry man, he was a great guy and I'm sure a terrific friend. Prayers for his loved ones. Requiescat in pace Tim. ETA - I changed my sig line to match his. It's a great one. |

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

OP, Tim would have been proud of the words you spoke of him. Sorry for your loss.

View Quote Yes, that was me. Tim was an awesome friend that I'm proud to have had the honor of getting to meet up in person with. We chatted fairly regularly and I always enjoyed our conversations. Our last text conversation was unfinished, and now shall ever remain so. I will miss you my friend. |

Popping in to keep this thread about Tim around longer. I miss him. He helped me so much with my camping/survival/gun gear, I can't look at it without getting emotional.
Dude was a rock solid friend. |

It's good to see this thread will be the memorial for him.
Still can't believe he's gone. |
