My Dad got remarried and now lives in Western Massachusetts. I remember going to visit and seeing all the signs for lexington and concorde exits off the highway when traveling to his house from the airport.
I didnt get a chance to go visit on that trip but hopefully will next time. I do remember being depressed thinking about the current state of Massachusetts gun laws and the fact that The start of the American revolution directly involved the British coming to take colonist Arms. |

They were great men. Unfortunately today, the population of Lexington and Concord is a sad reflection of those who fought for freedom to create this great country. They are all ultra liberal (as is most of the Northeast) and have little regard for the Constitution and the original founding principles.
Living in the area, ask me how I know. We are the epicenter of gun control. I feel your pain. When I visited years ago, the vibe seemed to be mild embarrassment for having this piece of violent history take place there. fast forward to April 2024 and the British foreign minister is in the US begging to fund a war effort. This time it's not the french. Now the speaker of the house has coincidentally rolled over and agreed to hand over the funds. No tea party or tar and feathering occurred.
