Ya know, so many around here want to see everything burn so we can start over.  I've read that book, except we don't have hyperdrive.

You want Honored Matres?  Cause that's how you get Honored Matres.

Chapterhouse *does* include my favorite quote.

“All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corrupt-able. Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted.” Darwi Odrade

Based.

That's exactly why juries are lottocracies.

Power doesn't corrupt. It reveals.

Power doesn't corrupt. It reveals.

Perhaps.

I like to think of it as most normal people really don't care to control other people. Shitlibs always seem to want to regulate conservative states, but there's no huge desire to end gay bars in San Francisco. We just don't care.

I think power and consolidating power does indeed attract the absolute worst type of person.

But within that I think there's a shit ton of hope, because most people are normal. And furthermore centralized experiments have continually failed.

It’s a more complex flavor, but still a turkey flavor. It’s more robust, with more depth. Texture wise it’s a bit firmer; I like to marinade in (believe it or not)regular old Italian dressing. Gives it a little tang and I like to think performs some minor tenderizing.

But it’s super duper scrumptious.

What's interesting about turkey is apparently wild and store bought is good but free range fancy is gay.

I have no idea why this is as free range commercial birds should be similar but reading about it on the internet for like 10 years I guess it's not. My best guys is that with a truly free range turkeys can just focus on eating what they want.

But if they're fenced in they are just choosing best option.

The biggest word I hear for commercial "free range" is stringy.

Hunters do not describe it as that, nor have I experienced that with a bird a hunter killed

@Notcalifornialegal

I enjoyed it.

It was A24... but not QUITE as A24 as usual. But still A24.

@WhiskersTheCat

You'll like it as well. The payoff is worth it. And Virginia ends up taking the brunt and showing up... per usual.

OUR FUCKING OYSTERS.

I was just talking to a brother over beers about this. I did civil war research in college and was like WTF I was lied to. Then was like "Okay federal government gay south based"

Then got older and in arguing I was like "holy shit other retard states DID actually want slaves"

It was at this point I was like "holy fuck Virginia is turbo special, we are just pretty much right all the time"

I have been actively researching the opposite of my belief for years but I have not found a counterpoint I find viable

Historically Virginia is always ahead of their time, no one listens, and then when they do stuff goes well and when they don't it goes bad.

America in a sentence
