I think a solid start would be min 500,000 a year Less forget about FICA right now WNBA league pass is $15 a month if you bump it up $2 more and 4million women in the USA buy league pass you could pay the 144 each $500k Women, step it up and help with the pay gap |

I guarantee there will be calls for the NBA to "revenue share" with the WNBA to raise their salaries. Same shit USA Soccer did.
How about instead of comparing WNBA to NBA, compare them to US mean income rate of which they are doing very well. Their pay is commensurate with the entertainment value they provide, which is to say average at best. And I fucking hate basketball. Bunch a fucking prima donna sweaty whiny diving ghetto squeaky shit heels. |

I have a simple solution. Just tell all women that effective immediately they are all 100% eligible to play in the NBA. All women can compete for the same roster spots on every pro team. If they are good enough to make the team, they get a legit NBA salary.
Want equality? Great. You are all equal. Go compete for a contract. If you have the skills, you get paid. If not, you get to be poor like the rest of us. Want to know why I'm not an NFL receiver? I wasn't good enough. Want to know why women don't get paid as much in sports as men do? Because they aren't good enough. Its pretty simple really. Pro sports team hire the best players, at whatever cost it takes. If you aren't on the team, it's because you aren't good enough. Period. It is probably the last true meritocracy that exists in a US-based business. |

I've never met a person who admitted to watching or attending a WNBA game. I don't think I've met anyone who even showed any interest in the WNBA at all. I don't necessarily doubt that 400k may have watched some playoff games but I have a hard time believing that many watch the average regular season games. I'd rather watch LIV golf. |

My guess is the total tv viewership of all WNBA games combined doesn’t beat a single mid tier NBA team ratings in a given year.
Same with the World Cup. The women’s finals puts up alright numbers but if you compared totaled viewership for all games in both tournaments men’s numbers would far outstrip the women’s. |
