Yep, breezes blow it all away.  But if it is a light breeze, just be down wind from the device.  If it is a strong wind, you don’t have to worry about the mosquitos

Thermocell works.  I use it on the porches and while hunting .  Just can’t walk around with it.  As long as your still in an area it’s good to go.

Use picaridin on skin, permethrin pretreat on clothes and get a thermocell.

I was actually looking at spraying my yard for skeeters later this spring.

Thermacells are great if there’s zero breeze. When we hunt gators in Florida in August, we wear 100% DEET bug spray.
