My son is currently attending Cal Poly Humboldt, about 60 miles from my home. Protestors have been destroying the campus for a full week. The University is in hard closure for the remainder of the semester. There will likely be no graduation ceremony this year.
BUT, word is there's 300 cops with tear gas and smoke grenades ready to kick ass tonight. They are currently driving around the campus playing a recording ordering the protesters to leave. It's supposed to be happening tonight/early tomorrow morning according to a close source in the law enforcement/emergency response scene. I can't wait to hear from my son tomorrow. We're all pretty excited, I hope I'm not let down. |
