What’s it take to get a Gladiator Sport S on 35s? How about a Rubicon or a Mojave?

Will a 35” tire fit under the bed?

What are you JL/JT guys doing for side mirrors with the doors removed?

@Boomer,

You can have a pair of these if you want them.  I've never used them. They mount to the A pillar.  Just cover shipping.

Thanks for the offer, but I don’t even have a JL or JT. At least yet. I test drove a Gladiator yesterday and noticed the power mirror switch on the drivers door. That seem to sort of preclude the possibility of eliminating the door mounted mirrors and installing mirrors that are permanently mounted to the A pillar and maintain the power and heating features like the ones on my JK.

I can speak for the Mojave. 35s will fit on factory wheels with no lift no problem and the 35 will easily fit in the spare location Attachment Attached File

No problem.

Just noticed you had said JL/JT.  I was thinking JK.  These mirrors won't work on the newer Jeeps.

I have a JK, but there is a set for the JL/JT. But my JK will never not have a set of the Quadratec aluminum mirror movers. Saved me from a face full of pheasant 8 times so far this summer/fall, with no damage.

I'll probably get shit for them being Quadratec, but it beats ten pounds of pheasant to the face at 80 mph.

It’s been a couple years since I ran 22 but it was no joke. Props for doing it in a stock flatfender

Thanks!

It ate it up, no hiccups whatsoever. Did a bunch of other trails too, but my goal was 22.
It dominated.

And technically it's a locker stocker. (front and rear lunchboxes)

I haven't looked at how the current doors come off, but unless they've changed them radically... a cheap set of 'motorcycle mirrors' from the auto parts store will work with minor modification.

I believe I just drilled out the hole to a slightly larger size and got a bolt that fit snugly in the door hinge. Then I spray painted the whole thing black because the mirrors I got were chrome.

Works fine.

Yes, it’s right-hand drive.

2 door XJ is best XJ. I still miss my Canadian export red 1990 4.0 5 speed. If I could find that I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I do love this  2 door!  Looking for a white 93-94 4door with 4.0, aw4 & np242 currently for a back country/camping rig.

Im two years into a m38a1 restoration/repowering or id be all over a gpw/mb.  I will enjoy the extra space and room for a heater but the classicness of THE jeep is undeniable.

Keep the hard top,  get a Sunrider from Besttop.

I put one on this year,  so handy when you are just tooling along looking at the scenery.   Fuck getting out and removing the freedom panels,  two latches and fold the thing back,  takes 5 seconds,  same to put it back.

The TJ got some upgrades after the death wobble started to show up again.  New steering stabilizer and adjustable track bar.    Took a pic with my HR director's $74k sticker 2024 Rubi and @seantx 's Gladiator.  He really likes all things Gladiator.
