A couple of years ago, I posted here that it felt like 1969 again automotive related. And that I expected, in a few years, the feds, insurance companies and automakers to conspire to fuck it all up again.

I hate being right. History really does repeat itself.

Yep, I live vicariously through my cousin.

He ran 9.03 at 2100 ft elevation in Vegas corrects to 8.86 all stock tune, just weight reduction, IIRC battery and wheels

He also ran 8.89 at Texas Motorplex @151mph 1.234 60ft and 0.34631 reaction
