I'm not a millionaire like most of you guys here but this is my ride.

2011 Ford Escape XLT AWD

Just a clean E36 M3/4/5.  Not particularly fond of the color, but it's better than black.  Some minor modifications, Konis all around with dinan springs for a mostly stock ride height. Dinan camber plates in the front with an X brace from the convertible E36.  All new bushings replaced in the front with OEM or upgraded equivilent. Swapped the stock steering rack for a faster Z3 steering(best modification ever).  Replaced most of the rear end bushings as well.  Just need to drop the rear subframe and replace the four subframe mount bushings.  Mostly stock motor with the exception of an intake, exhaust, underdrive pullies, and some software.  The car is meant for handling and I focused on that.  I would like to ditch the rear wing and fix the the small rust spots on the rear wheel arch and the trunk lid.  I've kept up on the maintenance and avoided any real large repairs.

I also have a 2000 Subaru impreza that sees nothing other than gas, oil, and tires.  It's my daily driver and would not hesitate to get another one if this one ever breaks.

Enjoy it, i have a '99 M3 in the same color, it holds up a lot better than most of the other colors and hides a lot of sin (scatches).
Hope you have had the coolant system done, if not, I would atleast replace the water pump and thermostat housing.

I am torn between keeping mine as i love it, throwing a SC and 6 speed on it, or selling for an E46 or M coupe variant.....

At least I have the rarer Titansilver color.  If you park a titan next to an arktis silver car, you notice that the arktis has more of a blueish hue to it.  I may or may not have owned an extraordinarily rare individual color M 3/4/5 that was totaled in 2009, I was kinda partial to that one.  I have done a lot of preventative maintenance and just general upkeep.  Let's see how much I can remember aside from what's listed already:

-polished out the headlights, swapped to piaa night tech bulbs, replaced cracked fog lights
-replaced the cooling system, new behr radiator, all metal water pump, lower temp thermostat and fan switch, new aux fan, new fan clutch, bmw coolant
-replaced the idler pullies for both AC and serpentine, new belts with underdrive pullies
-replaced shitty, leaking power steering lines and steering guibo when I did the steering rack
-new OEM motor mounts and transmission mounts, AKG black FCABs, pressed in E30 bushings for control arms (would have been easier to buy new arms looking back)
-replaced all four calipers with remanufactured units, new rotors, braided brake lines, OEM pads
-replaced front windshield gaskets and clips, painted wiper arms, new rear glass seal
-replaced the blown HK speakers
-normal fluid flush cycle for oil (5k with rotella synthetic), transmission (20k with redline), rear differential (20k with Mobil 1), brakes (yearly)

I have a few future projects such as:

-replacing the interior light bulbs with LED, fixing the two burned out bulbs in the dash, new shift knob
-recover the headliner and pillars
-fix minor body issues (missing some door moulding, a jack cover, two small rust spots, delete spoiler, repaint whole car optimally but barring that just the front bumper and hood, replace roundels on hood, trunk and wheels)
-need to address oil light flicker (oil pump nut, new oil pickup tube)

I wish I had made a project log like people do on bimmerforums but by the time I do something I don't feel like stopping and taking pictures.  I find setting aside around 100 dollars a month to take care of issues covers me pretty well for the car.  If I didn't do the work myself, I would not be able to keep up with the costs or the car would not be as well maintained.  Fortunately, E36 are pretty simple to work on and there is so much information on the web to help.  I would keep what you have, I read about so many people regretting that they sold their E36 for a different car.

Hmm.. Didnt think mine was rare, just ran the vin and mine is "Titansilber Metallic (354)" which i thought was the most common color. Don't think i have ever seen the other silver in person.

In 1999, they discontinued arctic silver as a paint option and went with titanium silver.  If you are interested in production numbers this link has the production numbers for manual coupes http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=418105

It won't list every option for every VIN number but you can get a general feel for how unique your car is.  For instance, the M3 sedan I currently own, it is one of 177 with the interior and exterior combination.  If you narrow it down more, Mine doesn't have the common fold down seat option, in fact it doesn't even have the pass thru option.  The one I owned which was totaled was a morea green manual, the only one in that color out of all the manual sedans produced.  If I had known that, I would have never let it out of the driveway.

The car in the foreground is Arctic while the car in the background is titianium.

There seems to be a small amount of smoke coming from the rear of your car. You should look into that.

Made 571hp/535tq to the tires on motor. Didn't spray it on the dyno. But it does pick up about 7mph in the 1/8th. So I'm sure it's about 720ish on the 150 shot.

Washed, clayed, and waxed the wife's car this past weekend.  Treated all the black plastic with Aero 303 protectant, the tires with Poor Boy's Natural look dressing, engine bay with Sonus dressing.   Wax was Poor Boy's EX-P sealant with carnauba.  No interior shots but treated the leather with Wolfgang's cleaner and conditioner and all the black trim with Aero 303.  Also polished the exhaust, wet sanded and polished the headlights.

Installed a shorty antenna and OEM roof rack on my new 'Cruiser...

And installed some LED headlights, we will see how they hold up, they've had a somewhat rocky course on an FJ Cruiser forum.  The color is a bit bluer than this picture shows, but they put out a ton of light, I had to adjust the headlights down quite a bit...

We've been happy with ours, the Speed version would be Tits McGee.  I do think I like this generation's styling more than the subsequent models.

Daily driver is the Impala.  Cheap gas, no more depreciation for miles left on the thing, oil changes are fifteen dollars in my driveway.

Weekend fun car is the M3. Pay for the privilege.

They are nice, but I think Ford should've changed the tailights and sold it as a Gran Torino.

Spotted this beauty today.

And installed some LED headlights, we will see how they hold up, they've had a somewhat rocky course on an FJ Cruiser forum.  The color is a bit bluer than this picture shows, but they put out a ton of light, I had to adjust the headlights down quite a bit...

Those new mustangs are the best looking version in a long time.  I love those.

  Damn. That thing looks mint.

I didn't get close enough to check the mileage, and I won't vouch for it's authenticity, but she sure was pretty.

First slant nose I've ever seen in person.

Thanks, and yes.  I know they sell the the exact same thing on EBay for like $90, I'm hoping if a bulb does fail the warranty will make itself worth the cost difference.  So far I like them a lot, they light up the road very well.  We had a bunch of fog today and they seemed to perform very well.

Inlet to the water pump is broke off and it and the radiator hose is full of some white chalky stuff and I pulled a couple plugs and the bottom of them where rusted so I think the motor is going to be locked up, and I couldn't the brakes free.

And I put the carb from the 66 on the 65, got the brakes unlocked and jumped it with a screwdriver and got the motor to turn over.

That aftermarket hood prop should come in handy to roll the fenders.

Yeah, I like to post pics of the bay, some folks tend to not believe you when you say you did a swap.

Race Red 2014 Mustang GT Premium, I snagged it this past May with 520 miles on the clock.

So far I've added a Boss 302 grille, Cervini's GT500 chin spoiler, a GT500 rear spoiler, GT500 rear valance and a Magnaflow Competition axle-back.
