I love it. Photos do neither the car nor the color justice. I think people were just initially shocked since BMW is drastically breaking from the norm. Most of the reviews are positive on it in person.

Though, I still never got used to that giant grille on the M3/M4 so I get it if the boldness doesn't tickle everyone.

It certainly doesn't blend in, that's for sure.

Someone killed my Honda Fit with their pickup truck. I got screwed out of $2500 in aftermarket parts. I'm still dealing with that trash.

In the meantime I have a Mazda2. Slow, but very impressive handling little car. What can I say? I love shit boxes.

I'll bet that things zips around like a go-kart.

I'm not sure exactly why...but the Fit was more fun. The Mazda steers more directly, stays flatter, and gets around with less drama. I do love this segment of cars. Around a corner almost nothing beats them. In a straight line most anything will

I've posted the GTX before, but after working all winter to freshen up the interior, upgrade the front suspension, reseal the engine and refinish or replace everything under the hood, I'll post it again. I also spent many hours on paint correction and exterior detailing. Not too bad for a regularly driven Street Machine that's been on the road since 2001...

Suspension upgrades include QA1 tubular upper control arms and billet tie rod sleeves, Hotchkiss adjustable strut rods and LCA bushings. All of the other bushings and bump stops were replaced with polyurethane parts.

The 992 911 came back from the shop. Also have 2 sets of wheels and 4 sets of tires now

Camber plates, springs, brake studs, sport-cats, brake fluid, just blew through the first set of track pads doing my first 2 track days (different courses). Car handles like a dream. The springs settled now, and it’s definitely a tad low, but still doable for a weekend/track car.

Awesome. I will always love and respect the 86.

I was hanging out with a bunch of GR86/BRZ owners at cars and coffee a few weeks ago, and we came to the conclusion that basically every single 86 owner changes out the wheels. I have no idea why, but we all do it. Where do all the OEM wheels go?

My wife bought a GV70 two weeks ago in green as well. The 80 was too big for her. I tried talking her into the matte, but she couldn't do it.

I'm seriously impressed. I'm considering one in the matte blue. Their colors are amazing.

I was looking at the GV70, but couldn’t find one semi-locally in the color combination I wanted.  Those are great looking.

I really like the interior in the 80.

Noble's sole US distributor/dealer used to be five minutes from my house until they closed up shop.

ETA: looks like they are still there but Noble is no longer sold in the US. Looks like they actually bought production rights and is basically rebadged and changed a bit as the Rossion Q1. Still headquartered by my house but assembled in Florida.

Interesting.

2020 Tesla Model Y Performance.  It is a March build and sub-1500 VIN.  I bought it with 2300 miles on it from someone with a Tesla YouTube channel based in the Denver area.  I went with full Xpel Stealth PPF and 19" T Sportline TSS to help it better survive Montana winters.

We loved it so much that I bought a red 2021 Long Range for my girlfriend to drive.

See, I could afford a pretty awesome used model S that was a few years old.  And it would spank my scat pack challenger in so many ways.

I think my next unnecessary car purchase will be electric, after I'm done with this trailer park car.

I've been into electric cars since I built a tractor pull RC car in high school that literally had so much power that it broke free from the sled and slammed into the wall at full speed.   I've been a car guy my whole life; I built a 420hp Chevy 350 when I was a freshman in highschool, and I have straight piped everything I owned (until I got into my 30's) but I don't miss any of that.  My Teslas are so fast, and so quiet that I can get on it whenever, wherever and I don't even get a second glance.   I love when guys in big diesel pickups come flying up next to me and want to race.  I review the video and in some cases I question if they were even really trying, but the guy last night made it pretty obvious.

I've never had a "car" so the challenger is my first one.  Didn't feel like sinking at least 70k into a used hellcat so I went with the 485hp scat pack (I hate that name).  I really like the styling, its plenty fast for me, and I can cart my young kids + wife around which is a must since I rarely get to go anywhere without my family besides work (1 ton dually boxvan).

But I admit its silly to know that the model 3 performance some parent drives at daycare can flat out leave me in the dust with my badges and racing stripe.

As for your video, its hard to believe that common folk don't know the advantages inherent in an electrical engine.  But there it is, in evidence.

I'm currently building a kubota powered turbodiesel 1953 army jeep, someday I hope that old willys jeeps will have an electric conversion kit available to them.  I can install a kit.  Custome everything from the ground up, not so much.
