While there are certainly some very intelligent people on Arfcom, I have often found that the collective "hivemind" needs to wear slip-on shoes. - Mech2007

I was born in 70. Grew up with heavy metal/hard rock. My first concert was Van Halen ‘84 tour and my first album was AC/DC was “For Those About To Rock”.
Having said that, I’ve never understood the fascination with Motörhead. Flame on! |

Well, that's what Motörhead is about: love it or hate it.

They made an appearance of Carson or Letterman and I didn't care for it. Many years later they popped up on my pandora. Some of their shit really rocks. Brotherhood Of Man |

first time i saw Motorhead, Lemmy walked his ass out there and said "We're Motorhead and we play rock and roll"
That was the bulk of what he had to say that night. Anthrax opened for them. Kick ass show. |

Like Lemmy and Motorhead, but I honestly prefer Ozzy's version. The 30th with the 2 of them mixed together was awesome.

Now that I'm older they have become one of my favorite. Clutch was the same for me. |
