I use a padlock tied with orange paracord through the hole on my front brake lever. I had one issue where the lock got caught in my crocks while riding off road on some fire roads deep in Maine. Right after that happened I removed the front brake lines. I don't want to be flipped over the front bars again.

Agreed. I just used the term to better describe the open, vulnerable, position of the whip wielding motorcyclist compared to the relatively protected automobile driver. |

If not, maybe you should take a closer look in the mirror. The amount of self righteous douchebags in cars far outweighs the amount on bikes, except when it comes to douchey crotch rocket riders. I've been riding for 40 years, Yamaha, Honda, and Harley. Don't carry a "get back" anything. The amount of times I've been cut-off, almost hit, or almost rear ended is ridiculous, all because people aren't paying attention. People need to pull their heads out of their asses and pay attention to driving. Not their phone, not the DVR player, and not the misbehaving crotch fruit in the back seat. |

If you want to have a discussion about either one of our driving habits, we can find a nice parking lot and discuss it in person. Tapping the kill switch on a buddy's bike? Meh, moderately funny. Used to do it to each other when we were younger. |
