I thought it was Sicario and Brolin was holding a rifle on some gang guys...but I can't find a clip like that anywhere

My memory says he was saying "Tranquilo, tranquilo" and then blasts the guys because they make a move.

Was it glasses guy at the border?

You have the movie right, and I believe the shooter was DelTorro.

Yes, it’s Sicario. It’s when they’re on the highway at the border and the gang members are in the car.

I've watched that scene half a dozen times now...DelTorro says "en paz, en paz".

I know somewhere there is a clip with "Tranquilo, tranquilo"...only because I specifically recall telling my daughter who loves spanish and I used it on her

Huh, you’re right. I could have sworn that was the scene.

Maybe you’re thinking of this instead

I can specifically recall the line.  Thought it was Sicario but I can’t find any trace of it.

There’s a few quote search engines out there.  The only movie I’ve personally seen that I can dredge up that line from is “American Made” with Tom Cruise.

Ha Ha!  See...I think the matrix reset and changed it to "en paz"  There is zero chance I heard "en paz" and thought "tranquilo".

Ever watch Narcos?
Tranquilo and Calma Te are used quite often.
Guess drug dealers are anxious types?

No. But at this point, it was probably a tv show or something.
Thanks for all the help guys.

Carlito's Way in the scene when he goes with his little cousin to the drug deal, but he didn't have a rifle in that one.

ETA: Oops, beat
