Typical Maine. The response to multiple egregious government and law enforcement failures results in citizens losing more freedom and liberty. Blame the inanimate objects, not the infallible institutions that enabled the problem to persist. The cherry on top is that none of the new laws would have prevented the tragedy they’re now using as a cudgel against law abiding citizens. The math all checks out 100%.

a big fail of our system is that the Attorney General is appointed by the president.
If Bruen was a law protecting gay stuff or similar, the AG's would be suing these states into oblivion. |

WHAT??
make it a crime to recklessly sell a gun to someone who is prohibited from having guns. How about this is already a fucking crime, and I would be willing to bet it was already a state level crime in Maine, prior to this abortion of a bill. |
