Got General Cutlery 1989 in perfect condition, still sealed in military contract packaging.
But by the time I got them, they were sold out and I couldn't reorder.
Should have bought more, paid under $50 even if you include the $8 my tax dollars paid in 1989.

I remember that deal. Picked 2 up myself. I was able to source some scabbards from some surplus site.

I had the great fortune as a Lieutenant to receive former Marines as my NCOIC twice.  The first one got a mini-KaBar, the second received an OKC.

My last two deployments I got all my troops M7s.

Since I now have suppresser devices on my FSP AR's I have to figure out if I can mod my OKC or M7 to fit, or do I just buy two more ARs that can take the bayonets

May just buy one of those H&R M16A1 clones PSA makes.

Really appreciate them- it is most certainly the greatest advancment in bayonets since the socket mount.

I enjoyed your discussion on the modern and practical uses of bayonets by the Marines in Afghanistan.
