Damn it PSA!  Why do you have to listen to the market, build what people want, then sell it for a reasonable price?  My wallet....it hurts.

Love PSA and what they do, love the concept. Not a fan of the styling or all the aluminum everywhere so my next shotgun will still be an 870 but I'm sure they'll still sell boatloads of these without me.

Best of luck to the beta testers.

Barrel looks kinda skinny.  Folks are going to tapco-fuck the living daylights out of that thing with aftermarket laser cut Punisher/H-D barrel shrouds.

That barrel clamp is enormous.

I wonder what the thought process is behind that.

Hopefully they sell a short barrel with folding grip making it possible to build a super shorty clone for ~$500. I'd be in for one.

Don't need another shotgun. Will be buying another shotgun.

QD mount on left, right and bottom maybe?   I see the holes and guess they have to have a certain depth to work.  David

This interests me. I wonder which parts are 870-compatible and which are Mossberg-compatible.

If I didn’t have an older 870 I’ve setup for HD I’d be in on one of these. This is a great idea and appears they’re going to nail the execution of it.

At this point, PSA is pretty much a one-stop shop. And deserves my business at least.

They'd do better importing and unfucking Turknelli clones and sell them for less than the 1301

It is adjustable and the barrels are straight with no taper to allow for swapping barrel lengths on the same shotgun.  You can do this with a pump, you can't do it with an autoloader because of the gas system.  Recoil operation withstanding.

meh

but knowing PSA it'll probably be at a price point where i'll buy one anyway...

This is the first PSA product that I would actually impresses more than other brands (assuming it is reliable, functional, etc.). (I have nothing against PSA to be clear.) This thing looks pretty great.

Make it with a wood stock and I'll buy one.

I don't give a damn about guns anymore but an RE clone would be cool.

That's kinda where I'm at. I'm not all that impressed, but I'm betting one of those pesky daily deal emails will net me one anyway.

The last thing I need is another shotgun, but if the price is reasonable, I'll have one.  You have to support the companies that support you.

Maybe something for my daughter to take with her when she moves out, I don't know, I will find a use for it.

That's what I'm curious about.  Looks like the trigger group is Mossberg based on the tang safety.  I'd presume they went w/ the 870/590 mag tube/barrel ring/nut for flexibility.  Looks like a 500 type bolt - which implies a 500/590 barrel/extractor, unless they've figured out how to mate a 500 bolt & an 870 barrel.  500 bolt w/ proprietary 870 compatible locking piece?

870 furniture?  That doesn't seem worth the squeeze.

If I didn't already have an 870P that I had Hans Vang do his shotgun magic on, I'll be all over the PSA offering.

If it works w/ stock 870 barrels & mostly Mossberg internals, I'll be hard pressed not to buy one.

Until I see how the stock attaches I'll maintain that they should have bought the patent for the Mossberg FLEX system

I am not certain but I suspect the design allows you to cut the barrel AND the mag-tube to whatever length you desire and make it all work, including the end cap.

Iirc, Shockwave Industries used to offer a similar barrel clamp.
