I have been very happy with everything from him. Ham is great too. ETA: here is a link to a write up on Sam's. Also, if you love food, that blog is written by a member. |

Fayette county, aka Fayette Nam resident here. Not too deep in the Nam though, only 'bout 5 klicks from the Westmoreland county border.
Lots of good stuff about PA, but I would like to be able to deer hunt with my M1A, or hunt squirrel with my 10/22. On Sunday would be nice also. Lots of pilled out welfare bums around my area but it's a pretty nice area for white trash like me to live. I can shoot right out the living room window of my trailer, at my home range. Tons of trails to ride our trikes on (three wheelers are alive and well in my area). Always listened to 'DVE but 103.1 WKVE (from my town) has em beat, way less commercials. Not a huge fan of some of the western PA delicacies though. Some of the shit people eat around here is nasty. |

Sam the butcher is 5min from home. Went shooting for a few hrs at my sportsman club to try out my larue contest winnings. If anyone is close and ever wants to do some shooting hit me up

I don't recall his tv show. I would have liked to see that. I like his show better now that Rose has moved on. One of my fonder memories in the 90's was going to one of the anti UN shoots that he was supposed to be at. Jim didn't make it but it was still a good time. Everyone got a good laugh when they announced that the feds showed up to check people's MG's. |

Mostly highlights of the previous weeks radio shows, with Rose flappin at the gums about the typical stuff. The shoots were at the Greater Pittsburgh Gun Club and Pitcarin-Monroeville, correct? I never made it to any but wanted to. GPGC is shut down now for some reason. |

I wish I could have took a pic, but I was driving.
It was a blazing autumn sun today. Was on Rt 10 and came down a steep hill into a valley. The trees on both hills were solid gold yellow. The valley floor was a farm, looked like some kind of feed grass and was just cut down and was a bright almost neon green. Trees looked like this Imagine the contrast of fresh cut green and the gold above. It was awesome. |

All the leaves up here on the side of the mountain have been gone for a while, and I actually wore shorts to take the dog out and do some work around the outside of the house today, yeah in November.
This is disconcerting because the last time it was this warm in November around here, late January and into February was a frozen hell. |

Spent my first 40-some years in Maryland. Bailed out of there 7 years ago and escaped to here. Feels much more like home than Maryland ever did. Some would maybe say the little valley where I live is a little hickish, but I like it just fine. If your family hasn't been here for at least 3 or 4 generations, you're an outsider, but I get along just fine. No regrets coming here.

Mine was on his back making labrador snow angels. He loves the snow. Mine's a Lab/Doberman mix, usually he's all playful and goofy and Lab-like but when it comes to snow the intellectual Doberman side realizes that snow is the devil so he gets it over with as soon as possible. I actually had a purebred Husky who just passed away in September that hated snow even more than this one does, in the winter he'd actually tiptoe out just far enough, do what he needed to do and then would run back into the house, I could never wrap my head around that one. |
