I am setting here watching Clint Eastwoods movie about Richard Jewell for the first time.
I watched the Manhunt series but this seems to go into more depth. I was 11 at the time and only barely remembering it in real time. How bad was this guy fucked for months? |

They tried to go in that guy dry.
Fuck the gov and the media who just lap that shit up. |

My office was down the road from his apartment. The number of news trucks outside for weeks was astounding.

His life was unjustly ruined

I found the movie excellent and the actor who played Jewell did a great job.

The FBI has been shit for a long time.

I’ve read enough about the bombing and the fucked up investigation to never, ever trust law enforcement again.
RJ was a cop wannabe. Actually he was a cop for a short time. He trusted them to do the right thing. They didn’t. He learned, eventually. |

It was a very good movie....
Shows you how awful .gov peeps can be. |

I remember watching news all the time then. It started with the Gulf War. |

It was disheartening. By the next morning the events that were broadcast the night before were memory holed and never shown again. |

He’s a bigger fella and if I’m not mistaken a comedian as well. Farley was a national treasure. I hope they don’t fuck this up. |

Now watch "Police State" by Dinesh D'souza. Jewell was just practice for Now.

Good, eye opening movie. |

There was a lot of ridiculous pseudo science bullshit back then, like psyche profiling.
Oddly, the real bomber was kind of an Arfcom hero. |
