46 hp nothing crazy - but I tilled the garden yesterday. I swear getting the pto connected takes more time than the tilling. Some nice machines posted.
So far this year have already used it to move more clay into leaky pond, build a large 2-tier retaining wall on a hilly section that sucked to mow, graded the drive and cleared culverts, and the tilling. A pic from firewood season: Attached File |

I had a tree guy remove a white oak that the top was dying, base was 32 inches. I had him cut the trunk in 9 foot section to make it cheaper on me. It moved it all with a box blade for ballast. |

Took a couple hours of chain to trees and pulling with the hydraulics, but at the end of the day pulling with the backhoe finally coaxed it out. Looks like a toy here, but is almost 7K as it sits. I have a grapple for it as well, but leave the bucket on 90% of the time. In reality I would love another one. Leave one to do mini TLB stuff, and one with a grapple and chipper on it. |

Attached File (un)Patented drum lid valve stem protectors. For those of you with 24" rim diameters who work in the woods I highly recommend this. Thread the wheel weight attachment holes in the wheel 3/4-10 , install threaded rod for stand offs, some 3/8 fuel line too snug the outer diameter, put the bung over the valve for service. Nothing worse than shearing of a valve with a fluid filled tire in an area completely inaccessible. After this happened to me the first time, it never happened again. (*was in the tire business and saw sheared valves countless times) |
