I'm not a huge Ford fan, but I thik their X000 series are about as iconic as JD 20 series, MF's 135/165 and IH's 66's.

Thanks.

Dump it out, spread it out (in this case with Mahindra 3640 and box blade), then compact it.

If the plasticity index is proper when it arrives(which it was) it will basically turn into lw strength concrete.

I need a bigger tractor for most things, but I think one of those would be very handy for some stuff

New to us tractor day for my wife and I also.

A 2014 Kioti DS4510 with backhoe followed us home from a local estate auction.  161 hours of use and I don't think the owner ever used the hoe or the bucket.

Got my tractor 101 helping load three project tractors and a batch of implements.

Primary job for the tractor will be moving logs onto our bandsaw mill, (loading by hand is a pain in the butt).  Have got a multi page list of jobs for the backhoe already.  It'll be nice to work on that list at my pace, rather than renting a mini ex and frantically spending the weekend trying to get everything done.

Get yourself a third function and grapple.

OR a set of pallet forks.

Maybe both.

Definitely understand the satisfaction of doing it at your own pace rather than dealing with rentals.

Pallet forks are on the list. Grapple is also possible though we would need a line to bring the hydraulic to the front.   Or we could just get a thumb kit for the hoe...

Also would like a land plane more than a box blade.  But they're hard to find on the used market, while box blades are a dime a dozen around here.

Had a Allis Chalmers 180 Diesel. Got rid of it because I got done what I needed to and I was tired of working on it all the time. So instead I got a free skid steer JD 575, which I am working on continuously because it was in pieces when I got it.

I’ve got a lot to do once it dries out again.  I need to replace the ag tires, they fuck up everything they roll over when the ground is saturated.

Thanks, this is actually the second Kubota I’ve owned, see my post a few up from here with my old B2650.

I grew up running and admiring all things John Deere but not with today’s prices and attitudes at their dealerships.

This is the smallest tractor I’ve owned and operated.  It is for sure handy for the smaller jobs.

So far I’ve tackled a brush pile and restoring an old flower bed for my parents.

LOL.  There will be no new tractors in my world with $4.18 corn.  This 2k-hour beater tractor with heater leather seat will have to do.

And I've got Ertls as well.

Wish they had them available for my B2650 when I bought. They were fairly new at the time and weren't available in that size yet. I think they became available the next year. Went with R4 as a result.

Grain farming where land is flat must be nice..bet there aint no dried up manure in the floors of those. Of coarse this year beef rules and grain drools, next year it will be reversed.

Tractor tires are big money.  Also, ag tires are sometimes rough on the ground, but they’ll keep you from getting stuck.

Yea, there are places in my yard, I cant get a 60hp tractor.  That would be great for flower beds, mowing, digging a shallow French drain to help drainage at my front porch.

To be fair, the dealership issue is entirely dependent on your location, and you're shopping the dealer as much as you are the equipment.  I went into my purchase thinking I was going to be on team orange, but I ended up on team green due to my local JD dealer being so much better on everything from fair pricing, the sales process, service, etc.

Congrats on your BX, it's an awesome little tractor!

Nope. That's not a 747, it's a 525. They made a bunch. Still not common by any means but not the biggest one either.

*moving leftover stuff out of the basement and to the shipping container.  Have a woodshed build planned, so some of the shingles will come in handy.

Out of all the Korean brands i would be more likely to buy kioti. Maybe cause most of my stuff is kubota and i ride ktm, but they sure do look good. I know the Korean brands are getting way up there in quality.

Got a grapple when I bought it.  THAT is a must around here when heating with wood.

Didn't really think i would find so many uses for forks around here.

My forks left Indiana yesterday and should be delivered next week.

Said the heck with it and ordered some from Express Steel.  Ordered in the morning, had an ABF tracking number in a couple hours, and ABF had the forks that evening.
