I finally got around to taking it to the track and made one easy run letting off at the line since it spun and again before the end of the 1/4 mile. On the next run I intended to see what it might do BUT the rear end broke at the line. The parts should be in this week and hopefully take it back out in the next few weeks. It’s more of a street truck and actually drives pretty well. View Quote Yeah I can see how that might be hard on parts. I love the truck though. Not something anyone would ever expect to move like that. |

What color white is that? I ask because I see they have a space white and something else. The setup looks good.

Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a new truck.
I figured I might as well. I have been waiting over two years and the market just keeps getting worse. I like it a lot. Attached File |

I've been eyeballing a set of Methods to put on my truck. Check out custom offsets. That’s where I bought my setup, you can build a complete package based off of what you have already done to your truck. I said I had a level and I didn’t want to trim anything and they guaranteed these would work, and they did. They were also pretty damn reasonable on the price. |

I'm eying the built right racks for the back of the seats, be handy for keeping hunting stuff in. Yeah it's an 18, so no live valve. The shocks need rebuilt. I want to go live valve but my wallet disagrees We'll see, may just end up rebuilding these for the time being. |

‘73 F-250 Custom. Yes gentlemen, Chrome Yellow.

I'm slowly rejuvenating a truck my mom has had for 20ish years. Its been sitting for a couple years and she asked if I wanted it. It had some years of neglectful use by someone who was borrowing it and then wound up sitting. Its a nothing special 96 F150 XLT Reg cab, I6, 5spd 2wd with a big dent on one side of the bed and a tweaked bumper. I think how plain it is is part of its charm. Figure it'll be a good beater to drive instead of getting the diesel dually out just to go pick up a bag of dog food. Besides I need one more project. Grubby as fk when I got it. Amazing what you can do with soap. It still needs to be washed again but good enough for now. I'm going to fix the misc stuff thats currently broken then put a straight bumper on it and call it good for now. |
