I have a son who is a Marine, and a son who is a soldier.  They are both awesome, sarcastic, love to tease, love self-depricating humor, and are impossible to offend.

A close friend of mine wants to make a fun and sarcastic impression on them when they meet for the first time.  She is going to give my Marine crayons and a coloring book.

What should she give my Army son that will be equivalently funny and sarcastic?  What is the Army equivalent to crayons?

Thankfully, the PT belt was after my time.

How about crayons and ketchup for the Marine?  You don't want to confuse him with the coloring book.

The PT belt is a good one, thanks.  All of my Army pals make fun of it and hate it.

Marine son was YATYAS and Army son was 11B and has reclassed to psyops

The crayons went over well and so did the PT belt.  Much laughter and enjoyment.
