Great song in general, but I love the electric bass playing, particularly when he starts taking off around the 4:00 mark

Technically, this was released in 1969. But...close enough. Call it a bit ahead of it's time.

Sounds a bit like Killing Joke sometimes, other times it's like the comments "proto-industrial black folk metal".

It's like a bizarre point in space-time where you're hearing something about 15 years before it's going to be a thing.  Marty McFly would be playing this at the Fish Under the Sea dance while band leader Otto Konzietsko calls his brother Sascha and says "Du kennst den neuen Larm du willst?  Dann hoerst du dass!"

"Your leather-jacket-wearing tattoed knoxxed-hawked badass kids are going to love it."

I was born in '67, and music wasn't much of a fixture in my household. I wasn't interested in music until the 80s.  I do like many tunes from the 70s, but I have to admit the only reason I clicked on this thread was because Subnet authored it.  Nice blast to the past though.

Shit, I'm pretty old.
